How Cities Can Use Digital Billboards to Create Economic Development and Improve Public Spaces
There is a rising affinity between people, cities and large-format digital out-of-home media (DOOH). For the City of West Hollywood, in which its billboards along Sunset Strip have made the area famous, the transition to digital is serving as an opportunity to create public benefit and provide a baseline for long-term economic development. The resulting projects promise to contribute to a more dynamic and engaging public realm, while supporting cultural resources and public art, along with sustaining historic structures and use cases like live music and comedy.

Case Study: Curved dvLED Displays Dazzle at Savoy Automobile Museum
The new Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, Georgia, isn’t your typical museum. In addition to memorializing the history of the automobile with exhibits and events, the new 65,000-square-foot institution leverages the latest in dvLED display technology from LG Business Solutions USA and mounting innovations from Peerless-AV to deliver captivating video content and provide digital canvases for private events or sponsors to display messages and films. The museum aimed to maximize the utility of its interior spaces to host events like a new vehicle launch using the theater’s rotating stage and 18-foot by 31-foot curved dvLED display, or offer a unique wedding venue and have videos broadcast on the 10-foot by 24-foot curved, tilted display in the great hall. These displays are most impressive because they aren’t flat – they’re curved – requiring precision engineered custom mounting solutions and an expert team with the right skill set to achieve an awe-inspiring digital experience.
