Meghan Athavale, who frequently goes by the pseudonym Meg Rabbit, is a media artist, writer, and character designer whose work spans immersive interactive environment design, fictional novels and short stories, animated films, music, and sculpture. Her boundless creativity is motivated by a desire to explore diverse perspectives, neurodivergence, and cultural differences.

In 2010, Meg founded the interactive display and game company LUMO Interactive as a way of expanding upon and monetizing her talent for experiential installation design, game development, and 2D animation. She holds multiple patents for interactive display technology, and has collaborated on educational interactive installations for clients including Nasa Goddard Space Center, The National Children’s Museum, and Google Tokyo.

A lifelong learner and gifted autodidact, Meg taught herself to code, compose music, sculpt, and publish novels. She formalized her skills in animation and digital media and design at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, graduating in 1997.

Meg loves sharing her enthusiasm for new media and technology with other artists, and regularly collaborates with folks across many disciplines and industries.
